Keep ULM Beautiful: Water Sweep 2026

Keep ULM Beautiful is hosting a location for Water Sweep 2026, a waterway and campus cleanup event in collaboration with Ouachita Green and ULM’s Student Government Association (SGA), on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The event will begin at Scott Plaza (the ULM fountain).

We will be removing litter and debris from the banks of our beautiful section of Bayou Desiard, as well as from nearby parking lots and roadways, all of which drain into the bayou. Supplies will be provided, including gloves, trash bags, buckets, and handheld grabbing tools. We have enough supplies for approximately 150 participants, so individual sign-up is required to help us plan accordingly!
