Internship Program

Ouachita Green’s Love Where You Live Internship Program is a great way to meet other students in the community and work together to build bonds that can last a lifetime. What you do is important and makes a difference. You will be a vital part in helping to keep Ouachita Parish clean & beautiful. We want this to be an even greater place to live, work and worship. You will be part of making a difference today and in years to come.

You will be mentored by leaders in our community that care about you and your personal success. These men and women will help you meet your goals and cheer on your successes. You will be given the opportunity to learn more about yourself and the community you live in. This internship program gives you the opportunity to earn scholarships and other awards.

KLB Clean Biz Partnership

Addressing the litter problem in Louisiana is a responsibility we all must share. In order to engage Louisiana businesses in reducing and preventing litter, the Clean Biz Partnership was developed by Keep Louisiana Beautiful and the Louisiana Chamber of Commerce Executives (LACCE). All businesses, large and small, are encouraged to participate. A Chamber of Commerce membership is not required.

KLB Education Resources

Keep Louisiana Beautiful provides education on litter, waste reduction, recycling, and beautification for all ages. As we learn about litter and its impacts on our lives and environment, we become better equipped to advocate for change. In 2021, the Keep Louisiana Beautiful network reached 24,440 students and educators with lessons focused on environmental stewardship.

KLB Library Clean Up Kit Program

Keep Louisiana Beautiful has partnered with the Louisiana State Library and the Louisiana Public Library System to make litter clean up supplies readily available for check out at local libraries across the state. You can now use your library card to check out a clean up kit, which includes a safety vest, grabbers, a trash bag, and instructions on how to conduct your cleanup. This program provides the perfect opportunity for students to get service hours for school. It’s also a great hands-on way for families, small homeschool groups, youth groups, and scouts to care for their neighborhood. View the list of participating libraries!
